Product recall for Jobe Duna 11.6 and Jobe Yarra Teal 10.6 Inflatable Paddle Board Package identified as presenting a risk of drowning due to a faulty glue which creates leakage through the seams of the board, causing the paddle board to deflate.

Product: Jobe Duna 11.6 and Jobe Yarra Teal 10.6 Inflatable Paddle Board Package

Hazard: The product has been identified as presenting a risk of exposure to water / drowning as its substandard glue should have a minimal life cycle of 5 years when used normally and maintained properly, however research has shown that this is not the case for the defaulted batch. The product may deflate during use.

Corrective action: The product has been recalled from end users. (See below for more information)

The product has been identified as presenting a risk of exposure to water / drowning as its substandard glue should have a minimal life cycle of 5 years when used normally and maintained properly, however research has shown that this is not the case for the defaulted batch. The substandard glue creates leakage through the seams of the board and if the seam separates when the product is in use, the user may fall into the water unexpectedly.

The product does not meet the requirements of the General Product Safety Regulations 2005.

The product has been recalled from end users.
