The annual Genteel Junque sale of donated items, hosted by the Galveston Historical Foundation, will feature a variety of antiques, furniture, and home decor. The sale will be held at The Depot on Market, 3304 Market, and will focus on fine antiques, furniture, and artwork in good condition. What: This spooky Halloween pop-up at the Bryan Museum offers both tricks and goodies for families with kids between the ages of 4-11. There will be a haunting scavenger hunt on the Museum grounds, fall-themed crafts, a photo booth, free books, and scary stories at 10:30 and 11:00 in the Museum’s pirate cave. The waters of Galveston Bay have a long history that dates back to the island’s formation. Visitors will learn about the eerie past of Galveston’s harborside during this unique 90-minute tour onboard the SEAGULL II of the Galveston Historical Foundation.

What: Watch the beautiful sunrise with your friends and family as SUP Gulf Coast hosts Yoga on the Beach together with the Yoga Haven. The sounds of the ocean and birds will greet you when you awaken with the sun. Grab a paddle board or surfboard after yoga and head outside to catch a glimpse of dolphins or enjoy the waves. What: The historic downtown cultural arts district of Galveston Island is home to the fine arts festival   — ARToberFEST. Over 120 of the best painters in the country exhibit their works throughout the two-day festival. More than 8,000 people attend the event, which gives attendees the chance to meet with exhibiting artists, take in artist demonstrations, and enjoy food and entertainment in a magnificent downtown cultural arts district. What: Up to 600 participants indulge in a fun day of sightseeing at thirty venues in downtown Galveston, where they can pick up a packet containing a playing card at each location, with the goal of possibly making a winning hand at the end of the day to win prizes. This event has been organized by Clean Galveston for 30 years! Many players come from the mainland to play for the day, and many have done so ever since Walkabout began.
